About Arbitrum
Arbitrum One is the biggest optimistic rollup on Ethereum by value locked: transactions execute off-chain and post data back to Ethereum, with a challenge window during which a fraud proof can undo an invalid batch. That window is why withdrawing to Ethereum the trustless way takes about a week. The point people most often get wrong: ARB is a governance token, and gas on Arbitrum is paid in ETH, so holding ARB is not required to use the chain.
Arbitrum transactions typically cost cents, since the rollup amortises Ethereum data costs across a whole batch; that cost still moves with Ethereum's own fee market.
ARB has been under near-constant unlock pressure since launch, and trades on rollup competition and on Ethereum's own fee narrative.

Frequently asked questions
οΌHow many ARB are there?
6.61 billion ARB were in circulation as of 5 August 2026, against a maximum of 10 billion β so 66.1% of everything that will ever exist has already been issued, leaving 3.39 billion still to come. That is a large share still to arrive, and it is worth knowing on what schedule before treating the current price as the settled one.
οΌCan I stake ARB?
None β ARB is used for governance. That is why there is no ARB staking calculator here: the tool reports rewards in units of the coin you staked, so it only covers networks that pay in that same asset. Publishing a page where the dollar figure was right and the unit was wrong would be worse than leaving it out.
οΌWhich ARB calculator should I use?
There are 5 on this page and they answer different questions. Start from what you are actually asking: what a past purchase would be worth now, what a position is worth today, where a leveraged position gets liquidated, or what regular buying would have produced. Each opens with the live ARB price already filled in, and every calculation runs in your browser β nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored.
οΌWhere does the ARB price on this page come from?
Live from CoinGecko when you press the price button, with the ARBUSDT pair on Binance as a fallback if that request fails. The request happens in your browser and carries nothing about you; if both fail the calculator keeps working with whatever figure you type in.
