About Cronos
Cronos is the EVM chain built by Crypto.com, and CRO is both its gas token and the asset behind the exchange's card and staking tiers. Its supply history is the thing to understand: 70 billion CRO were burned in early 2021, and in 2025 a governance vote re-issued that same 70 billion β a reversal with few precedents at this size. Because a single company is the dominant force in the ecosystem, CRO behaves more like an exchange token than a neutral layer 1.
Cronos transactions cost cents. CRO is not listed on Binance, so most liquidity is on Crypto.com itself β check the spread before assuming a quoted price is achievable.
CRO responds to Crypto.com's own announcements β listings, sponsorships, supply votes β more than to broad crypto moves.

Frequently asked questions
οΌHow many CRO are there?
47.3 billion CRO were in circulation as of 5 August 2026, against a maximum of 100 billion β so 47.3% of everything that will ever exist has already been issued, leaving 52.7 billion still to come. That is a large share still to arrive, and it is worth knowing on what schedule before treating the current price as the settled one.
οΌCan I stake CRO, and what does it pay?
Yes. Delegate CRO to a Cronos validator, or lock it on the exchange for card and fee benefits β two different things with different risks. Rewards run at low-to-mid single digits on-chain; exchange tiers differ, and the calculator on this page is prefilled with 4% so you can change it to whatever your validator or platform actually quotes. On-chain unbonding takes about 28 days; exchange lock-ups run to fixed terms of their own. Staking is native to the protocol here, so you are not relying on a third party's wrapper.
οΌWhich CRO calculator should I use?
There are 6 on this page and they answer different questions. Start from what you are actually asking: what a past purchase would be worth now, what a position is worth today, where a leveraged position gets liquidated, or what regular buying would have produced. Each opens with the live CRO price already filled in, and every calculation runs in your browser β nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored.
οΌWhere does the CRO price on this page come from?
Live from CoinGecko when you press the price button. There is no Binance fallback for CRO β it has no pair there, so the page asks CoinGecko only rather than requesting a pair that does not exist. The request happens in your browser and carries nothing about you; if both fail the calculator keeps working with whatever figure you type in.
