About Axie Infinity
Axie Infinity was the game that made play-to-earn a mainstream story in 2021, to the point where players in the Philippines and Venezuela earned meaningful income from it β and then the token economics, which required new players to fund existing ones, did what such economics do. In March 2022 its Ronin bridge was drained of roughly $625 million in what remains one of the largest thefts in the industry. Both halves of that history are the reason to look at AXS: it is the clearest case study in play-to-earn design and in bridge risk.
Ronin transactions are cheap by design, since the sidechain exists to keep a game playable β the cost that matters is the bridge back to Ethereum.
AXS fell more than 99% from its 2021 high and now trades on gaming-narrative cycles rather than on the game's own numbers.

Frequently asked questions
οΌHow many AXS are there?
174.2 million AXS were in circulation as of 5 August 2026, against a maximum of 270 million β so 64.5% of everything that will ever exist has already been issued, leaving 95.8 million still to come. That is a large share still to arrive, and it is worth knowing on what schedule before treating the current price as the settled one.
οΌCan I stake AXS, and what does it pay?
Yes. Stake AXS in the Axie staking contract; rewards come from the token's emission rather than from game revenue. Rewards run at low, and it falls as the emission schedule winds down, and the calculator on this page is prefilled with 3% so you can change it to whatever your validator or platform actually quotes. No fixed lockup, but rewards must be claimed manually and are paid on a schedule. Staking is native to the protocol here, so you are not relying on a third party's wrapper.
οΌWhich AXS calculator should I use?
There are 6 on this page and they answer different questions. Start from what you are actually asking: what a past purchase would be worth now, what a position is worth today, where a leveraged position gets liquidated, or what regular buying would have produced. Each opens with the live AXS price already filled in, and every calculation runs in your browser β nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored.
οΌWhere does the AXS price on this page come from?
Live from CoinGecko when you press the price button, with the AXSUSDT pair on Binance as a fallback if that request fails. The request happens in your browser and carries nothing about you; if both fail the calculator keeps working with whatever figure you type in.
