About Gram

Gram is the native coin of The Open Network (TON), the sharded proof-of-stake chain originally designed at Telegram and now run by an independent community. On 15 June 2026 the coin was renamed from Toncoin to Gram β€” its original name in the 2018 white paper β€” after a governance vote passed with 81.22% support. The rename was presentation-only: balances, addresses, contracts and staking positions were untouched, and no swap or migration was required. Any site asking you to claim or migrate GRAM is a scam.

TON fees are fractions of a cent and stay low under load thanks to sharding, so fees rarely factor into position sizing for GRAM.

GRAM's price is closely tied to Telegram-ecosystem adoption news, which makes it prone to sharp single-headline moves in both directions.

Frequently asked questions

οΌ‹How many GRAM are there?

2.74 billion GRAM were in circulation as of 3 August 2026, against a maximum of 5.22 billion β€” so 52.5% of everything that will ever exist has already been issued, leaving 2.48 billion still to come. That is a large share still to arrive, and it is worth knowing on what schedule before treating the current price as the settled one.

οΌ‹Can I stake GRAM, and what does it pay?

Yes. Running a validator directly requires a stake most holders cannot meet, so almost everyone delegates through a nominator pool, which aggregates deposits and splits the validation rewards after the operator's cut. Rewards run at roughly 2–5% through nominator pools, varying with how much is staked network-wide, and the calculator on this page is prefilled with 4% so you can change it to whatever your validator or platform actually quotes. Funds are committed for the validation round they are participating in β€” rounds run on the order of 18 hours β€” so a withdrawal typically clears within a day or two rather than instantly. Pools set their own additional withdrawal rules, so check before depositing. Staking is native to the protocol here, so you are not relying on a third party's wrapper.

οΌ‹Which GRAM calculator should I use?

There are 6 on this page and they answer different questions. Start from what you are actually asking: what a past purchase would be worth now, what a position is worth today, where a leveraged position gets liquidated, or what regular buying would have produced. Each opens with the live GRAM price already filled in, and every calculation runs in your browser β€” nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored.

οΌ‹Where does the GRAM price on this page come from?

Live from CoinGecko when you press the price button, with the GRAMUSDT pair on Binance as a fallback if that request fails. The request happens in your browser and carries nothing about you; if both fail the calculator keeps working with whatever figure you type in.
